Being a classic rock fan, it's downright essential that I at least have SOME Clapton in my collection. Of course, it would have to be a compilation...and although "Timepieces" looked like a good choice, I held out for a collection that had "I Can't Stand It" on it. Finally, up turns this CD -- which covers not only Clapton solo (from the 60's to early 80's) but also Cream, Blind Faith, and the heavenly "Layla" by Derek & the Dominos! (By the way, how come the end of that sond always reminds me of "Goodfellas"? Hehe...) Nice collection, and although it does omit two songs from "Timepieces", I can't remember what they are so it doesn't really matter anyway.
