Here's one of those nu-metal bands that my friend "John Doe" kept bugging me to
get into. Unfortunately, I didn't bother buying their CDs until my nu-metal phase
had long past (one of the shortest-lived musical phases in my lifetime, I might add.)
"Coal Chamber"
- "Loco" (4:14)
- "Bradley" (3:03)
- "Oddity" (3:18)
- "Unspoiled" (2:59)
- "Big Truck" (3:31)
- "Sway" (3:35)
- "First" (4:12)
- "Maricon Puto" (0:46)
- "I" (3:49)
- "Clock" (2:59)
- "My Frustration" (3:59)
- "Amir of the Desert" (0:45)
- "Dreamtime" (3:43)
- "Pig" (3:15)
- (unlisted track--end of track #14) (3:26)
"Loco" starts of with a heavy, driving riff, quite unique. On the other hand
"Bradley" is basically "Loco Part II", "Oddity" is "Loco Part III" -- well, you get
the point. How about a little VARIETY in your music for once???
I bought Chamber Music at the same time as this one, but that one was even less
interesting, so it quickly got sold off (although I did copy their cover of
Peter Gabriel's "Shock the Monkey" to the
Digital Puppy #4 compilation first.)
