A black-metal "supergroup" of sorts, featuring members of Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Arcturus, and Mayhem.

Once again, it was a lo-fi mp3 of "Dragonstorms" that convinced me to spend money on this band. Dark, cavernous sound (kinda sounds like it was recorded in an airport hangar) with an unusually good sense of rhythm and the typical extreme vocals. Nifty.

One review I read classified this as "Space Metal" -- well, I suppose that fits, with two songs with "Planet" in the title. :) It's not exactly black metal per se, although it has all the earmarks, with screechy vocals and lush orchestration. Quite a fine album, if my opinion means anything....
