If it wasn't for my constant lurking on The Perpetual Motion Conference message board, I wouldn't have given this used CD a second glance. To be honest, I'd assumed this was some totally obscure, European neo-prog band -- WRONG!!!! Instead, I found myself hearing a surprising, delightfully pleasing earfull of technical, 80's style speed metal. In fact, the band sounds like an amped-up version of Helstar...which stands to reason, because it's the same vocalist! About the only negative thing I can say is that there's not THAT much variety to the music; but at $4.99, it was definitely a worthwhile purchase.

The band also performs "The Last in Line" on Holy Dio: A Tribute to the Voice of Metal -- hmm, maybe that's where I first heard about them....
