This is actually two albums, the original Dirty Rotten LP plus the EP Violent Pacification, plus a couple bonus tracks for the CD. I wonder why they didn't call it "Dirty Rotten CD"? They should have. "Violent Pacification" has been covered by Slayer.

  24. "On My Way Home" (1:02)
  25. "Bail Out" (0:53)

There are several songs here that were on their 1st CD, but they are all different recordings (as far as I can tell.) The song "Mad Man" begins with a recording of the father of one of the band members interrupting their rehearsal & bitching at them nastily.

"Nursing Home Blues"

I am an old man living alone
My loved ones stuck me here in this nursing home
I've lost all usefulness
I want to die

I gave them all the best years of my life
Then Maggie passed away now I've got no wife
So kill me young man or hand me your knife
I want to die

My beautiful daughter says I get in the way
I depress her because I'm old and grey
She can't stand to see the wrinkles in my skin
By golly girl you're my only kin

I WANT TO DIE!!

Like an old horse put out to pasture
Too old to be of any more use to it's master
But when I lie in bed and I reminisce
I begin to think maybe this is best
I'm out of the way, not in anyone's hair
And though I'm costing them money I don't care

I WANT TO DIE!!

(Don't know why I typed those lyrics--just had the urge :)

"Crossover"

  1. "Five Year Plan" (4:01)
  2. "Tear it Down" (3:37)
  3. "A Coffin" (0:57)
  4. "Probation" (4:04)
  5. "I.D.K.Y." (1:27)
  6. "Decisions" (5:01)
  7. "Fade Out"--instrumental (0:25)
  8. "Hooked" (2:43)
  9. "Go Die" (3:40)
  10. "Redline" (3:04)
  11. "No Religion" (2:57)
  12. "Fun and Games" (2:12)
  13. "Oblivion" (4:54)

The band's "crossover" into mainstream thrash metal (hmm, what an odd concept!) It never thrilled me for some reason.

"Four of a Kind"

  1. "All for Nothing" (3:54)
  2. "Manifest Destiny" (2:38)
  3. "Gone Too Long" (2:29)
  4. "Do the Dream" (2:39)
  5. "Shut-Up!" (2:55)
  6. "Modern World" (4:08)
  7. "Think for Yourself" (4:40)
  8. "Slumlord" (1:49)
  9. "Dead in a Ditch" (0:57)
  10. "Suit and the Guy" (3:42)
  11. "Man Unkind" (5:15)

One of my favorite albums by the band, although it took FOREVER to find on CD...I kept running across copies that were all scratched up, makes one want to cry. FINALLY obtained a good copy.

"Thrash Zone"

  1. "Thrashard" (3:18)
  2. "Beneath the Wheel" (5:34)
  3. "Enemy Within" (2:43)
  4. "Strategy" (4:16)
  5. "Labeled Uncurable" (3:08)
  6. "You Say I'm Scum" (1:55)
  7. "Gun Control" (4:52)
  8. "Kill the Words" (5:14)
  9. "Drown You Out" (2:27)
  10. "The Trade" (4:28)
  11. "Standing in Line" (1:31)
  12. "Give a Hoot" (4:04)
  13. "Worker Bee" (0:53)
  14. "Abduction" (4:04)

Never was thrilled by this one, the thrash/hardcore mix just doesn't work here. Oh well. They put out a live album after this, plus two more studio CDs which do sound a lot better, God knows when I'll ever get them though.
