Guitarist Kai Hansen left Helloween to form this band...which
sounds nearly IDENTICAL to Helloween! At least their first album does. Their second CD I
thought was crap and sold it not long after buying it (although they do have a live album out
containing several Helloween tracks, which looks intriguing.) I've also got their
eponymously titled song on the CDR collection Eponymous & More,
which is pretty damn good, I might just start buying their CDs again...
The Judas Priest tribute albums contain TWO Gamma Ray songs,
done by different lead vocalists! There's also a Gamma Ray song on the
Holy Dio tribute. Original lead singer Ralf Sheepers
(who sounds A LOT like Kiske) later joined Primal Fear, one of the most boring Judas Priest
clone bands in existence (rumor has it he did that on purpose after he auditioned for
Priest's open vocalist slot, and lost.) Ralf also appears on Ayreon's
Flight of the Migrator.

This is a GREAT album, plain and simple. Yet nobody else seemed to appreciate it, because
I've seen several copies in the $1.99 bins! I talked the record store guy down to 99 cents using
the excuse that my brother owned it already (which is true, in fact!) "Look at Yourself" is a
Uriah Heep cover.
