The J. Geils Band

Never been much of a J. Geils fan except for this one album. Gotta love that "Centerfold" song, I used to dump a couple dollars into the jukebox & select that song to play 10 times in a row, just to annoy the hell out of everyone.

"Freeze-Frame"

  1. "Freeze-Frame" (3:57)
  2. "Rage in the Cage" (4:57)
  3. "Centerfold" (3:35)
  4. "Do You Remember When" (4:45)
  5. "Insane, Insane Again" (4:44)
  6. "Flamethrower" (4:59)
  7. "River Blindness" (6:06)
  8. "Angel in Blue" (4:51)
  9. "Piss on the Wall" (3:02)

This was one of the first crappy vinyl records I ever bought. Brings back a lot of memories, particularly how jazzed I was that "River Blindness" was the longest song I owned at the time (ha! if only I knew about "Karn Evil 9" or "Close to the Edge" back then!) and of course I got a good snicker out of "Piss on the Wall"--hey, I was only 14, okay? This was during the Falklands War and somebody made a parody of the title track called "Falklands!" which was pretty funny. I followed suit by writing my own parody of "Angel in Blue", entitled "Angel in Glue", but never did anything with it.
