David Gilmour
This guy's the lead guitarist & occasional singer for Pink
Floyd, but you already knew that didn't you?
"David Gilmour"
- "Mihalis"--instrumental (5:46)
- "There's No Way Out of Here" (5:08)
- "Cry From the Street" (5:13)
- "So Far Away" (6:05)
- "Short and Sweet" (5:30)
- "Raise My Rent"--instrumental (5:33)
- "No Way" (5:32)
- "It's Deafinitely"--instrumental (4:28)
- "I Can't Breathe Anymore" (3:05)
Add this one to the list of "In-Print CDs That Never Show Up Used" -- I've been seeking a copy
since, well, since CD's were first invented, and I still haven't seen it used yet...this
copy came from a trader in exchange for some bootleg CDRs. Quite slow-paced and atmospheric,
one of my favorite albums by any solo performer.
"About Face"
- "Until We Sleep" (5:15)
- "Murder" (4:59)
- "Love on the Air" (4:17)
- "Blue Light" (4:34)
- "Out of the Blue" (3:34)
- "All Lovers Are Deranged" (3:13)
- "You Know I'm Right" (5:03)
- "Cruise" (4:39)
- "Let's Get Metaphysical"--instrumental (4:08)
- "Near the End" (5:36)
I really like most of the tracks here, especially "Until We Sleep" and the hard-driving
"All Lovers Are Deranged" (how true, how true!) Even the quiet songs are fine to listen to,
and "Murder" rivals anything Pink Floyd has done.
