Heart

A great hard-rockin' band from the 70's, made all the more interesting as it was fronted by two HOT women -- at least, until Ann Wilson came down with the opposite of bulimia! (No joke...in their episode of Behind the Music, Nancy said that her whale-like sister always thinks she's too skinny!!)

  2. "Silver Wheels"--instrumental (1:18)

  5. "Dreamboat Annie" (2:06)
  6. "Even it Up" (5:09)
  7. "Magic Man" (5:27)
  8. "Heartless" (5:00)
  9. "Dog & Butterfly" (5:20)
  10. "Bebe le Strange"--live (4:28)
  11. "Tell it Like it Is" (4:29)
  12. "Mistral Wind"--live (7:14)

  15. "Rock and Roll"--live (5:56)

It would be interesting to know how hard-core Heart fans react to this album, and it's CD reissue. As a casual fan, it's great to get ALL the classic radio songs on one disc (although I could certainly do without the drippy ballad "Dog & Butterfly"...) It's also got a bunch of (presumably) unreleased live tracks, including a jam session featuring covers of songs by The Beatles and Led Zeppelin (who originally did "Long Tall Sally", anyway?) which seem to make this a worthwhile purchase for Heart fans. The kicker is, the original double crappy vinyl release had 3 extra songs that were excised from the CD -- only one I can remember was a noisy experimental track called "Hit Single", don't have a clue what the other 2 were but I assume they never appeared on any other albums either. Which, I'm sure, would cause Heart fans to scream bloody murder. I suppose. (Couldn't find information on the missing songs from ANY of the Heart fan pages out there!)
