Live
I've always been ambivalent about Live -- they have good songs, sure, but sound WAY too much
like R.E.M. (a band I *HATE* with a passion!) They are starting to grow on me, though...finally.
"Throwing Copper"
- "The Dam at Otter Creek" (4:43)
- "Selling the Drama" (3:26)
- "I Alone" (3:51)
- "Iris" (3:59)
- "Lightning Crashes" (5:25)
- "Top" (2:42)
- "All Over You" (3:59)
- "Shit Towne" (3:48)
- "T.B.D." (4:28)
- "Stage" (3:08)
- "Waitress" (2:48)
- "Pillar of Davidson" (6:46)
- "White, Discussion" (6:08)
- "Horse"--unlisted track (4:14)
Some good songs here, although the best songs ("Selling the Drama", "I Alone", "Lightning
Crashes") got overplayed so much that I plain got SICK of the damn thing. Funny, after listening
to it again for the first time in years, it doesn't sound so bad...that R.E.M. influence really
irritates me, though.
"Secret Samadhi"
- "Rattlesnake" (4:51)
- "Lakini's Juice" (4:59)
- "Graze" (5:39)
- "Century" (3:22)
- "Ghost" (6:19)
- "Unsheathed" (3:36)
- "Insomnia and the Hole in the Universe" (4:01)
- "Turn My Head" (3:57)
- "Heropsychodreamer" (2:58)
- "Freaks" (4:50)
- "Merica" (3:21)
- "Gas Hed Goes West" (5:35)
"Lakini's Juice" is simply AWESOME, and hardly sounds at all like R.E.M., so that was the major
selling point for me. Many other songs are great as well (except for "Turn My Head", which
SUCKS!)
