An interesting solo album by the former Foreigner keyboardist. Quite a mix of tunes here, with the instrumentals being easy-pop jazz numbers, while the vocal tracks vary from dorky pop tunes ("Saturday Night in Tokyo", EEEYYUCCHH!!) to fairly good power rock. Three guest vocalist appear here: John Waite, John Wetton & Lou Gramm -- the Lou Gramm tune, "Straight Back to You", sounds JUST LIKE early Foreigner!! (Gee, I WONDER WHY????) The other songs are sung by Ian, who has a pretty weak voice, I'm afraid. Overall, though, this album's a nice departure from my normal musical tastes, and especially nice to get on CDR (with faithfully copied artwork & liner notes, to boot!) since it's only available as a really expensive Japanese import.
