Memento Mori

Featuring ex-Candlemass vocalist Messiah Marcolin. (I wonder if these guys named themselves after the Doom II wad?)

"Rhymes of Lunacy"

  1. "The Rhyme"--instrumental (1:03)
  2. "The Seeds of Hatred" (6:08)
  3. "Morbid Fear" (4:19)
  4. "The Caravan of Souls" (5:54)
  5. "Lost Horizons" (5:56)
  6. "When Nothing Remain" (5:09)
  7. "Forbidden Dreams"--instrumental (3:55)
  8. "Little Anne's Not an Angel" (4:54)
  9. "Fear of God" (5:10)
  10. "The Riddle"--instrumental (1:55)
  11. "The Monolith" (7:17)

Not surprisingly, this album sounds a lot like Candlemass, though a bit more technical. The band also has a song on the Black Mark Tribute CD, but Messiah doesn't sing on it. The drummer here is Snowy Shaw from King Diamond and Mercyful Fate -- guitarist Mike Wead is apparently now in Fate, also.
