Missing Persons

Who could forget this band...with dayglo-haired lead singer Dale Bozzio, who always performed with pieces of duct tape over her tits? (On the TV appearances, at least -- I've heard rumors that she sang TOTALLY topless in concert!) Despite the gimmick, this was quite a talented band, even my parents mentioned so...drummer Terry Bozzio, for example, has played for a number of reputable artists, including Frank Zappa and U.K.

This was one of the earliest crappy vinyl records I ever bought, and when I first heard it I was blown away! But then I got stupid and SOLD the damn thing, and for a long time it was totally out of print. Damn, damn, damn. I even considered stooping as low as to buy their greatest hits CD, just to get some of the songs (everything they put out after this album was total SHIT!) Then I discovered the Internet, and the online CD stores therein...and guess what, there it was. As an extra added surprise, the CD includes two songs from their ultra-rare first EP--the Doors cover "Hello, I Love You" I could live without, but "Mental Hopscotch" is a classic song...and I had no idea it was by Missing Persons until I got this! Someone up there must like me...(either that, or they are just playing games for right now...)

Oh yeah, "Spring Session M" is an anagram, can you figure out for what? :)
