This was a demo tape from Leif Edling's band before he formed Candlemass, and minus the vocals, it sounds exactly like early Candlemass. The two demo tracks from Epicus Doomicus Metallicus were added on to the CD re-issue, and "Black Messiah" was rewritten and recorded as "Incarnation of Evil" on Ancient Dreams.
