For a long time I wanted to get a copy of the song "Blue Monday", one of my favorites from the early-80's techno days, and finally I took a chance and bought this 2-CD set. What a score it turned out to be! Every song is a winner, varying from happy dance pop ("True Faith", "State of the Nation") to more somber, gloomy techno-death ("Everything's Gone Green") Apparently the band used to be called Joy Division, whose lead singer died of some drug overdose (I think), which accounts for the band's dark sound on many tracks. The 2nd CD is mostly comprised of pointless remixes and dub versions, but what the hell...

Oh, and if you haven't yet heard Orgy's kickass version of "Blue Monday", you really are missing out on life...
