It's rare that a (non-grunge, non-alternative) rock band comes out these days that really
knows how to ROCK. Great stuff!

- "So Alone" (1:17)

Initially I wrote this band off as some pathetic Nirvana clone (a la
Bush) thanks to the shameless "Smells Like Teen Spirit" ripoff "Self Esteem" -- thankfully, that
song turned out to be just a joke, and the album is more in line with the hard-n-fast rocker
"Come Out and Play". I also love the lyrics to "Gotta Get Away": "There's demons in my head,
and it's more than I can take"...hey, people really ARE reading my mind here! Freakin'
conspiracy, man...
"Ixnay on the Hombre"
- "Disclaimer"--spoken word (0:44)
- "The Meaning of Life" (2:56)
- "Mota" (2:57)
- "Me & My Old Lady" (4:33)
- "Cool to Hate" (2:47)
- "Leave it Behind" (1:58)
- "Gone Away" (4:28)
- "I Choose" (3:54)
- "Intermission" (0:48)
- "All I Want" (1:54)
- "Way Down the Line" (2:36)
- "Don't Pick it Up" (1:53)
- "Amazed" (4:25)
- "Change the World" (4:45)
Haven't had a chance to listen to this one much yet, but "Meaning of Life" and "Gone Away"
prove that the band has yet to lose it's hard-drivin' rock edge.
