The Killing Fields is one of my all-time favorite movies, for many reasons, one of those being the INCREDIBLE music score. Some of the themes used (especially "Evacuation", played during the U.S. Embassy evacuation scene) never fail to send chills down my spine. Unfortunately, I was unable to find the soundtrack ANYWHERE for the longest time (although it never officially made my "Kill For" list), until one day I was browsing the used soundtracks section and BOOM! there it was! (Of course, I soon discovered that it had just been reissued...well, poo.) The only real downside is that the music doesn't work nearly as well without the visuals to go with it, plus the CD itself is pretty damn short.
