Hmm, sounds a lot like Tool...imagine that. :) Actually, Maynard James Keenan's side project is a lot more in the grunge vein, and even flirts with industrial towards the end. But there's no mistaking that unique vocal style -- "Magdalena", "Judith", and "Sleeping Beauty" could all appear on Opiate or Undertow, and nobody would think twice about it.
