"The Madness Begins..." (promo EP)The band's first EP, which apparently was never released on CD except as a promo. I actually had a copy of this CD that I borrowed from a friend, it sat in my desk drawer for several years until one day he showed up out of the blue and I gave it back to him. What a stupid thing to do, he probably didn't even know I still had it. Especially since this thing is so FUCKING RARE that it lists on trader pages for no less than fifty bucks!!! I got this copy at auction for only slightly less...the total cost w/ shipping & postage came to around $35, making it the highest cost-per-song ratio of any CD I have *ever* purchased. Well, that's my punishment for being a nice guy, I suppose...
(The promo CD doesn't include a front sleeve, but a good friend made me a printable scan from his original crappy vinyl, so I can finally justify putting up an image here to show you what the original artwork looks like. :) Oh, and "Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment" is a Ramones cover, too.)
"Absolute Power"The song "Slaughterhouse" is absolutely fantastic, and even appeared in the horrible Mickey Rourke film Wild at Heart (kind of odd hearing a snippet of that song in the commercials!!) The next two tracks are also pretty good, but after that the quality drops off drastically. The band disappeared without a trace after this one.
