Heh...well, if Quiet Riot can be credited for anything, it's for bringing
heavy metal to the mainstream in the early 1980's. The sad part is, this band
really is a joke....and the bigger joke is they are STILL AROUND, and STILL making
music, trying to recapture their former glory! Some people just don't know when
to quit...
"Metal Health"
- "Metal Health" (5:17)
- "Cum on Feel the Noize" (4:50)
- "Don't Wanna Let You Go" (4:42)
- "Slick Black Cadillac" (4:12)
- "Love's a Bitch" (4:13)
- "Breathless" (3:51)
- "Run for Cover" (3:38)
- "Battle Axe"--instrumental (1:38)
- "Let's Get Crazy" (4:08)
- "Thunderbird" (4:42)
This is actually quite a good album, and really the only one worth mentioning.
"Cum on Feel the Noize", a Slade cover, was of course a big hit, as was the title
track (also known as "Bang Your Head"). "Thunderbird" is dedicated to Randy Rhoades,
who used to play in the band MANY years ago, before joining up with
Ozzy Osbourne. (Bassist Rudy Sarzo also used to play with Ozzy,
and later joined Whitesnake for a brief period.)
"Condition Critical"
- "Sign of the Times" (5:03)
- "Mama Weer All Crazee Now" (3:38)
- "Party All Night" (3:32)
- "Stomp Your Hands, Clap Your Feet" (4:38)
- "Winners Take All" (5:32)
- "Condition Critical" (5:02)
- "Scream and Shout" (4:01)
- "Red Alert" (4:28)
- "Bad Boy" (4:21)
- "(We Were) Born to Rock" (3:34)
This album is almost an EXACT duplicate of their first one!! There's another
Slade cover ("Mama Weer All Crazee Now"); "Sign of the Times" is a TOTAL ripoff
of "Metal Health" (right down to the breath noises in the bridge)...you know, I
don't even know why I bought this thing.
