Quorthon
It's kinda funny how Quorthon (lead singer of Bathory) has his own
solo albums, since Quorthon basically IS Bathory...well I suppose it makes sense, since his
solo work sounds so radically different. He's also contributed a couple songs to the
Black Mark Tribute Vol. I &
Vol. II compilations.

Yes, this is a GRUNGE album, believe it or not...in fact it sounds a helluva lot like
Alice in Chains on steroids! Except I don't think Lane Stanley ever wrote
a song about eating pussy. :) Quite a change from the black metal stuff and probably a real
shocker to the die-hard Bathory fans out there. I quite like it, really.
Oh yeah, I gotta thank Century Media for coming through where CDNow & Amazon.com failed...was
going NUTS trying to get this one...

Still grunge, but a bit more musically diverse and with somewhat heavier guitar (similar to
the Requiem/Octagon sound.) Many of my friends have mentioned how weird the titles are!
Nice piece of work, once again.
