The Ramones

Never been much of a Ramones fan, although their impact on the music scene can't be denied. (And while I'd definitely rank them on the same level as The Beatles and The Who, that's only because 50% of the original members are dead.)

"Mania"

  1. "I Wanna Be Sedated" (2:29)
  2. "Teenage Lobotomy" (2:00)
  3. "Do You Remember Rock 'n' Roll Radio?" (3:50)
  4. "Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment" (1:40)
  5. "Beat on the Brat" (2:30)
  6. "Sheena is a Punk Rocker" (2:47)
  7. "I Wanna Live" (2:36)
  8. "Pinhead" (2:42)
  9. "Blitzkrieg Bop" (2:12)
  10. "Cretin Hop" (1:55)
  11. "Rockaway Beach" (2:06)
  12. "Commando" (1:50)
  13. "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend" (2:24)
  14. "Mama's Boy" (2:09)
  15. "Bop 'til You Drop" (2:09)
  16. "We're a Happy Family" (2:39)
  17. "Bonzo Goes to Bitburg" (3:57)
  18. "Outsider" (2:10)
  19. "Psycho Therapy" (2:35)
  20. "Wart Hog" (1:54)
  21. "Animal Boy" (1:50)
  22. "Needles & Pins" (2:20)
  23. "Howling at the Moon (Sha-la-la)" (3:25)
  24. "Somebody Put Something in My Drink" (3:23)
  25. "We Want the Airwaves" (3:20)
  26. "Chinese Rock" (2:28)
  27. "I Just Wanna Have Something to Do" (2:41)
  28. "The KKK Took My Baby Away" (2:31)
  29. "Indian Giver" (2:47)
  30. "Rock 'n' Roll High School" (2:14)

Now this is the PERFECT greatest hits album...it's got all the songs I've ever heard, and then some. "Do You Remember Rock'n'Roll Radio?" is my personal favorite. There's a few groaners here, especially when you listen to the lyrics: "Beat on the brat, beat on the brat, beat on the brat with a baseball bat oh yeah! oh yeah! oh yeah!".

"Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment" has been covered by Powermad; "Psycho Therapy" has been covered by Rigor Mortis and Skid Row.

"Brain Drain"

  1. "I Believe in Miracles" (3:18)
  2. "Zero Zero UFO" (2:24)
  3. "Don't Bust My Chops" (2:28)
  4. "Punishment Fits the Crime" (3:04)
  5. "All Screwed Up" (3:58)
  6. "Palisades Park" (2:19)
  7. "Pet Sematary" (3:29)
  8. "Learn to Listen" (1:49)
  9. "Can't Get You Outta My Mind" (3:20)
  10. "Ignorance is Bliss" (2:37)
  11. "Come Back, Baby" (3:58)
  12. "Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)" (2:07)

Actually bought this a long time ago after hearing the song "I Believe in Miracles" and thinking it was the best song by them in a long time. The rest of the album really doesn't interest me, although the theme song to Stephen King's Pet Sematary movie is pretty cool.
