This has got to be the strangest Black Sabbath tribute I've ever come across. All songs are sung in Latin, with authentic medieval instruments -- lutes, harps, bagpipes, the works. (Do bagpipes count as a medieval instrument? Yeah, I guess they would...) It's a bit much to take in all at once, especially the slower songs ("Solitudo", "Planetarum Vagatio") which make me zone right out. But there's a few truly inspirational numbers on here, especially "Via Gravis" and "Oculi Filioli", where they really bring out the Gothic undertones of the songs. Really transports you back to the 14th Century, it does.

I purchased this from CD Baby, and as a bonus, was given this link featuring more Rondellus music -- unfortunately, I couldn't get the site to download any faster than 1.0k/sec. Maybe someone else will have better luck?
