"Torment in Fire"This CD was issued on the "Fringe" label, which couldn't be more appropriate...the mastering STINKS, with the bass & drums mixed so high you can't even hear the other instruments (and the original crappy vinyl was crappily produced, as well.) In addition, their distribution service is one of the WORST I know of...although many CD vendors list this title, NONE of them could get the fucking thing!! Then, out of the blue, a guy from Canada wrote me cold, and offered to trade me this CD for a couple others...I was 90% sure it was a scam at first, but after jumping him through a few hoops, he turned out to be legit. Of course, it probably cost him about half what I paid him, but hell, who am I to complain?? Sure beats making a special trip to Canada...
Oh, as for the music itself? Well, no question here, this album's a CLASSIC, despite the crappy production! Hell, that even adds to the allure, I suppose...
