  2. "Whiplash Liquor" (3:40)
  3. "Too Bad" (5:54)
  4. "Everything About You" (4:14)
  5. "Sweet Leaf/Funky Fresh Country Club" (7:31)
  6. "Heavy Metal" (0:25)

The most interesting thing about this band is that they hail from Santa Barbara, CA (or was it Ventura? can't remember...) which kinda makes 'em "local boys" for me. :) As for their musically ability...well, that's a different story. "Madman" has a catchy hard-rock riff to it, "Funky Fresh Country Club" is kinda, well, funky; and "(I Hate) Everything About You", of course, was a big smash on MTv back in the day. (And I purely HATED that song, until I finally listened to the words! Still find it kind of annoying, though...) The other songs...well, they suck. And in fact, I really have no reason to own this CD...except that they do a short version of Black Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf", which unfortunately makes it a necessity. (You know how these things go.) This debut EP is currently out of print, but hardly rare...Second Spin has a big stack of 'em for $1.99 apiece, last time I checked.

As for the rest of their music...well, the followup America's Least Wanted was PURE garbage -- with that horrid "Neighbor" song (featuring that asexual "Pat" character from SNL...whoohee), and a downright PUTRID cover of "Cats in the Cradle" (not that they did a bad version, but I personally feel that's a song NO ONE should try and cover!) On the other hand, U.K.J. did contribute a nice version of "N.I.B." to the Black Sabbath tribute album Nativity in Black...hey, wait a minute, is THAT what "N.I.B." really stands for?? I've always wondered....
