ETERNAL DOOM
Forget Requiem. Forget Strain. This one will BLOW YOU AWAY.
The master wad-builders at Team
TNT have done it again, creating the most detailed, complex, and beautiful
32-level megawad this world has seen...nearly all textures have been changed,
including trees, statues, and a dark-skinned imp.
This demo-making team was most fun to work on, especially with so many excellent players
sitting round the table -- Yonatan Donner (who insisted we use the "Couleur Variable"
for recording Couleur's wads, since the were so damn huge), Peo Sjöblom and Michael
"Migru" Grüube (Yonatan & I took great pain to keep these guys away from each
other's throats! See The
Memento Mori 2 demo collection volume #3 for more details...), Kai-Uwe Humpert and
Istvan Pataki. The goal was to beat the original (and some would say...umm, boring)
demos by at least 50%, and we largely succeeded...depending on whether you use the
Couleur variable or not. :)
Check out Team TNT's Eternal Doom page
to get both the lmps and this amazing collection of levels. But first, be sure you
check out the "bonus" Credits level, which displays the names of all the people who
had a hand in bringing this project to life. I sat at the "Demos by" section and
watched my name circling around for hours and hours on end. Yep...I've arrived. :)
But HEY!! Don't go away until you've seen these "bonus" lmps:
ET242741.LMP -- by Jason Henry
(that's me. :-) Managed to beat my time by over ten minutes here...
- ET17-M3.LMP -- by Migru. All of a sudden, everything
goes into iddqd & idclip mode.
- E26GHOST.LMP -- by Peo. He just won't go down!!
