Yonatan Donner's Hell Revealed is undoubtedly the meanest, toughest megawad of all time. No joking here. These are the types of levels where you start with 200% health/armor and max weapons/ammo, and die within 10 seconds! Finally, by some miracle I was able to complete a couple levels:

Map 26 "Afterlife" Five cyberdemons, two dozen archviles, hordes of revenants, an army of ghost imps you have to face WITHOUT benefit of a rocket launcher...and those are the easy parts! I finally sat down to beat this monster, took me three straight days of literally doing NOTHING else before I beat the mother. Although I disagree that it's the hardest HR map (24 & 32 I still can't survive more than a few seconds), I only know of two other players (Peo & Kai) who have beaten this map, which I guess puts me in a rather exclusive category. :-)

Map 18 "Hard Attack" w/ fast monsters High from the successful completion of "Afterlife", I decided to tackle this level with the -fast parameter, since nobody had bothered to do it before. It really wasn't that difficult, since most of the monsters just stand there and let you kill them. :-) I came up with a trick to safely telefrag that one cyberdemon, watch closely to see how it's done! (By the way, all the people on r.g.c.d.p. who say iddt-iddt is cheating can BLOW ME...)
