One of the best single-level wads out there is ALTIER6 by Keith Hickman. Don't let the "Co-Op Only" billing fool you, this is a GREAT level for the single player! Check out the current best times at the Altier 6 Hall of Fame....

Team TNT's Icarus is one of the best megawads out there, yet so far nobody's bothered to improve on George Bell's aging UV demo collection. So to get the ball rolling, here's a few lmps I've thrown together so far:
Map12 "Hydroponics" in 6:50Map 25 "Another Fine Mess" in 9:25Map 28 "Excavations" in 11:27Did this one for Ricrob's now-defunct "Wad of the Week" demo competition. Came in first place!! Even beat Chrozoron by over a minute! (All right, I admit I got lucky...)
It always annoyed me that Chrozoron's demo for MOON2000.WAD only had 79% kills and missed ALL the secrets, so I finally did my own. Beat his time by two minutes, too...

SINCITY was one of the earliest pwads I ever played, and I have recorded lmps for the first four maps in the updated version. (Sin2_9.wad) I was going to make this a complete lmp collection but got bored.... Check out map03, where I hide in a tiny room while a gazillion monsters (including TEN cyberdemons) battle outside, creating the funniest sounds I've ever heard while playing Doom! |
